Eyes on the Mandate is a platform that aimed at consolidating Nigeria's nascent democracy by improving the public perception about the National Assembly.The Blog will improve public perception about the National Assembly by simplifying legislative processes and procedures, reducing the incomprehensibility of bills and policies.
The Blog will also serves as the bridge between legislators and their constituents by encouraging citizens engagement on real time.
Our objectives are to :
- Make parliamentary information more accessible to citizens
- Simplify and analyze bills and policies to reduce its incomprehensibility
- Strengthening the capacity of citizens to participate in parliamentary processes
We believe this platform is right tool for the legislators to increase citizen participation in governance and reduce the gap between them and their constituents.
