Our Team

Each and every one of our team and volunteers at one point had wrong perception about the National Assembly. After just two months of Legislative Internship Experience with the National Assembly, it became important that we share not just our experience about the National Assembly but also to bridge the gap between constituents and Legislators.

We go to great lengths to identify unique ways of citizen engagement with diverse experience and skill sets to improve not just the perception of few citizens, but the whole nation.

OBIDINMA Chinenye

Hi there! My name is Obidinma, Jennifer Chinenye. I am an indigent
of Ubahazu, Amiri, Oru-East Local Government, Imo State. I am a graduate of the Department of English and Literary Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I served as a youth corps member in Osogbo, Osun State.

You can say that I am a young woman who knows what she wants from life and what she wants to give back to it. I model currently with one of the best agencies in Abuja but that's not where my dream ends. I don't just want to be a beautiful face whose body sells brands by strutting gracefully on the runway but also a young woman who can contribute a positive difference to what we know to be our government today. I want a nation whose law-making body is transparent beyond measure and a nation filled with youths that know what they want and deserve from their respective representatives at the legislative level as well as how to go about achieving them. Like it or not, we are the Change (positive) we need, and the sooner we learnt the ropes from these representatives of ours and held them accountable, the better. We must never forget that our future lies with the legislature and that's why we must keep our Eyes On The Mandate!!! Cheers!

UBONG Dennis

From the surface I am like most young and modern Nigerian men; I take my work seriously, I have dreams and goals for the future that I am determined to make happen, and I don't expect anyone to do the hard work for me. I come from and feel very lucky to have a supportive family behind me. What makes me different from the rest of the crowd though is how I choose to fill my time away from work.

Armed with a rich spirit, a tender and a thankful heart and a desire for everyone I come in contact with to have the same experience, I am Nkanga, Ubong Dennis and as a young Nigerian Man, I take pride in demonstrating leadership responsibility and hard work in everything I do.

Examples of leadership, work ethic, perseverance, and sacrifice displayed by many others; gives me the fuel to one day make a difference through leadership in my country, community and wherever I find myself. Demonstrating leadership gives me the opportunity to show others that I am competent, confident, sociable, self-driven, motivated and capable of excelling in the future that lies ahead of me despite the obstacles and challenges that are present for me and likewise they could also overcome their obstacles and better themselves and the nation.

By recognizing that young teenagers tend to learn and do by what they see, I have made a conscious effort to reach out to my community and model to other young teenagers the importance of leadership, hard work, commitment, dedication, and perseverance, I strive to lead by example and make it my passion to set a positive example and hopefully Inspire others with my aspirations of making a difference. As a person, I think, I am sensitive, creative yet self-contained and in general I have a good control over the way I carry myself.
